what i've been up to for the last two days

firstly, i just graduated from college!just so you know...;)

just been staying home for the past two days really. but i love it! why?because i get to eat three times a day, i'm with my folks, unlimited internet connection and cable tv!woohoo! these i missed a lot so i'm embracing it because for the next five days i'm off to iligan again for our review.geez...

so for the past two days i've been...

watching tv mostly catching on myx and mtv where i get to listen top hits of today and i'm liking james morrison more with his top 2 song 'broken strings', a duet with nelly furtado, on mtv's top ten today (i think). love his voice, their blending, the rhythm and the lyrics is hurting but i guess it's better that way than faking it, making it more painful (i dont know if i'm getting the lyrics right.let me interpret a picture and i'll do just fine not with songs, phrases especially foreign and deep..haha..;p). actually, i came across him through Kyle XY series. his song 'you make it real for me' was used as an episode score. nice song. the series do really have nice tracks. i must go check out the scorer so i could also check what he's worked on. for sure it also have some good tracks. here's a single of morrison i liked as well that i'm sure i've heard somewhere.

so through Morrison, i got to know girls aloud in which they sang the song 'Broken Strings' together. i like the bob of nicola roberts (pic below). it's short and looks good with volume. great for summer. i'm thinking of cutting my hair just before leaving that's why.
been uploading pics of recent events at my multiply account (adik7ea.multiply.com)only since friendster isn't doing good for me and no facebook pics because it just going to be redundant and a hassle for me.;p

checking on my fave bloggers ala paredes, bianca gonzales, and patty laurel. yeah, they're all candy's judge bloggers. it's where i met ala and patty. i so love ala!she's one talented, smart and a chic young being. promising!so is ms B. patty happens to be my ultimate crush's lucky girlfriend so i get to read updates of crush as well.haha..;p.. through them i get to expand my blog radar. i just checked on other bloggers jane aldridge and rosanna aranaz whom featured by bianca in her recent account. for a clue they're one cool fashionistas! and i'm not.haha!

obviously, i'm getting myself fat here, lazying around.

oh it's holy week!better be behaving well..

here's a pic of me at my graduation:

I just don’t feel like it

so it wasn't a good day nor bad. i just don't feel like it.

woke up by my alarm at 5:30am to do edit my PRC and to my dismay the laptop is nowhere to be found. so i went back to bed and was able to sleep back then i woke up by somewhere 7am. gone to the manghuds room and found my lappy there.gosh!if i had known. so i took the lappy and did the editing.

got a text from hannan, asking for the time we'll be meeting that day for our PRC. i replied 9am but i was got hook with the turtlish-run of internet since it's for free. Finally I set forth past 10am already and i have printed the wrong file. tsk. sayang ang P4.00.

when i got in the hospital, the people whom i'm about to meet there where just arriving then. it was fine with me.we passed our lacking datas but unfortunately we'll have the results the following day so we're delayed again.

i wouldn't have gone there this am if and only if i kept my head intact. out of carelessness, of the most important thing, i've disrecarded the paper which contained the case number of the case to be swapped. Darn! Just found it yesterday. in addition, someone blame me on it but who else to blame to? only me, right? just hate it that she have said that to me. it was ok to me, i understand she was having a bad moment right there and then.

in the afternoon, we waited for awhile in the EC to open so we could pay for our fines and assessment fee for our college. i was second in line, things went on smoothly and i need not to wait because i was second in line. we headed then to the dean, and again to my dismay, i cant have my clearance signed since my cashier is not yet done. so we hiked to the admin for my cashier clearance. unfortunately, the server got offline and the assignee was not sure when it will be back. i climbed upstairs and waited for several minutes but when i came back, it's still offline. luck wasn't just with me that day.

so i finally, retreated to our floor (since it's not our department building), top floor of four levels (yeah, i know it's not that tall but still it's tiring. darn again) alone. my two other friends have gone home already since they can't move on as well. and i could hardly smile then. went back to nursing room 8 to edit my PRC since a good friend of mine texted me that our files are saved on one of the PCs there. thankfully, i was next in line. i didn't have to wait that long. i visited the office to have my clearance signed for my total accounts. i'm cleared already so i had mine signed. at least i now have an initial signature in my clearance. and i still can't move on coz i do still need another initial from a CI for my complete PRC. given the fact that i do still have lacking data, i really cant move on.

i met my good friend there and it's her birthday! yeah, but i could hardly gave a cheerful greeting. for me, it's somehow fleeting. when she was done with the initials for her PRC form since hers is complete already, she came up to me and asked about what i was rambling about on my slow progress with the clearance. "Unsay walay kalambuan, na nag-una-una gani ka," she asked. Ding! the second phrase irked me but i didn't show that i was irritated with her remark and i showed her my clean and un-signed clearance. i bet she got the idea. i wasn't very indulging. i just answer what she asks. i wasn't in the mood then especially with that remark. darn 3! i wanted to go home then but then she showed our correctioned thesis paper so i stayed and listen. Civil. i excused myself to my other good friend and told him earlier that i'm leaving early and excused that i was tired already. trying to be good, i waited for my good friend with the remarks, even though i have known already that it's online again. we went down the building together with our another friend. as bad as it is for me, the cashier's closed already. another downer!

she and another friend have gone to the city and i didnt go with her. i had no intentions then. she's to hear mass since it's birthday but i just contain my feel-bad mood that moment and just let her go like any ordinary days when i feel like not going with her. we separated that way.

maybe i was really tired then, i slept for hours the moment i got into our boarding house.

Thinking back, i really felt bad about what i did, of not being the friend that was expected of me today. as bad as it can be, i wasn't having a good day at all. with her remark, she must be at least thankful i remained composed in credits to her natal data just so sad, i did not celebrate it with her but i believe she had her own plans.

i just hate the thought that i'm behind this whole clearance thing due to my carelessness. yes, it's given that i'm delayed and why i do i still have to receive irky remarks? maybe to her it was nothing but to me it meant something and she must not have noticed it. she's getting used to doing it and i'm just tolerating it. darn! at least she would realize it herself, that even i amidst situations like this i hardly bragged being left behind or having to do things by myself. for one instance, it happened just the other day actually. when she asked about validating our ids, i said i was done with mine already, and she asked our other friend, same friend who have gone with her in the city today, she as well have had her id validated. "Ah kalain ui," she voiced out. Ding! she's being her again so i explained myself, told her that i was done with it earlier because i had to submit myself for the voting registration which happened last week. you know, i'm just tired of having to explain myself for going ahead of her at times like that. Realizing it now, I do need to explain for that matter because we plan to do it together. For this, i'm sorry.

Day after that, I got an indirect explanation from her when we were talking about lunch. She was saying sorry that she can’t come with me for lunch coz she’ll be going home. I told her no problem with me. Finishing the line for me, “What’s new? You’re used to it and I’m not.” She finds eating alone outside scary because she’s afraid that a stranger might come to her and share with the table. That explains it all. Sometimes I feel the way she feels but I have to get pass it. I might starve myself if I keep on thinking that way. That’s my point here; I want her to learn going out and having to do things just by herself. And for some reasons, I’m really the type of person who doesn't brag persons around to do for me. And if I have to, it must be very important that I can’t really excuse myself to do it.

Hope she’s happee with her birthday even without me.

Haayz… tomorrow’s another day I just hope I could live with this quote below.
“When faced with what seems to be a negative situation, adjust your perspective and choose to see it positively.”

God I Love You!;)

Bad and Good News

which one would go first?

hmm...

ok, i'll start off with the bad one then the good one next so the positivity is still there.

here they are!

upon visiting one of my fave bloggers ms. ala paredes, one of her accounts for the day talks about two politicians (Nasser Pangandamanan, Jr., city mayor of Masiu City in Lanao del Sur and Secretary Nasser Pangandaman of DAR) involved in beating up a 56-year-old father and a 14-year-old son for going against them after the politicians company overtook the already-taken flight by the father-and-son golfers happening just a day after Christmas of 2008 at Valley Golf and Country Club, Antipolo City.

the said beaten up company was actually with his daughter who accounted the whole incident in her blog. thank God they spared the daughter! My! the whole story was just so revolting which prompted me to write this (and if by chance read by others in this network). those politicians just can't do that but as terrible as it is, it's actually happening! tsk big time!

the family is actually asking for help in nailing these politicians to jail. i just really hope and pray that justice is served to them in the soonest of time!

on the brighter side, here's the good news:

Sandiganbayan: Caraga, WVisayas have fewest gov’t scalawags; NCR has most

isn't it a WOW?!i'm really surprised and glad to have read these headline in the GMANews.TV. well, if not so everybody knows, i come from Butuan which is one of the cities in Agusan del Norte which is also one of the four provinces comprising CARAGA region or Region 13, blah, blah, blah and blah...it's a bit comforting to hear something like that about our region but for NCR, it felt like nada. it wasn't a surprise at all. Oh! it must be discomforting and saddening for the folks in there.tsk!

i know for one that corruption has become generic in this country that includes this region of ours and my very own home-grown city but a filed cases of 41 for over 29 years compared to the 6,841 of NCR, that's a big difference if you look at the numbers, right?! though there are other matters of which such regions to compare with (whom i personally know and expect the total opposite results), this time it's ours to WOW for.

for the years i lived in butuan since i'm politically sensible, i had my own ranting moments about corrupt leaders in our city, of how political dynasty is so rampant in this part of the country, of how slow progsession is in terms of road and bridge development and other infrastructures such towering buildings like in Makati (ambisyosa!) ang big malls in Manila. there's actually more of this but for the past five years i think, the roads to provinces especially the way to surigao del sur has improved a lot making our ride pretty smooth during the halloween and holiday seasons, a new bridge was built in Butuan (the Diosdado Macapagal Brigde) which actually be of good use i believe in the long run, and lots of households in the said city, ours for one, are now enjoying if not so maybe comforted by the now-working water system and two municipalities (Cabadbaran and Bayugan) are now cities adding to the roster of cities of Caraga region. in terms of malls, we do actually have one which has been operating since i was still in my high school years.

when i told my mom about this news, she wasn't surprised and then explained that it's all because business are being monopolized here. this i forgot. it's the reason why we have so few industrial companies (i'm not sure if we do actually have one.waah.joke!) and big malls. anyhow, us folks here our pretty accustomed to this and been living pretty fine as well within our seams. i just hope, our region would be able to maintain this low corrupt rate if not diminished.;)

from all of these, there still hope for future development for the rest of us. we just have to believe and work for it!

to God be the Glory! God bless the afflicted and the weak.

yesterday, december 18, 2008 two bombs exploded in two department stores here in iligan city, two dead and 45 wounded as reported in the news. really bad! poor baggage boys. luckily, we're in the middle of our review in the school when the bombing happened and which later on turn out to be the reason for canceling all classes today including our review!yay!aw.my bad but i pray that the bereaved family could get over it in God's time, to the wounded that they may be healed and to all of the Iliganons to get over with the trauma especially that's its christmas season..i really hope iligan would have a peaceful christmas. God bless us all!

my colorgenics

my… i think some of it proves to be true about me at the moment…just some…

Name: lea ness

You are under considerable stress and you are almost about to ‘blow your top’ but you are fortunate enough to be able to exert control. Control is the name of the game and it is so good to realise that whatever the situation may be a this time - it will pass. You need to get away from everything for a while and if you do, you will find that, strangely enough, it will seem that most of your problems and situations will seem to wash away, just as the sea may wash away ‘footprints’ in the sand.

You are a true extrovert, frivolous and outgoing. You need to feel in control of any situation. If matters are not proceeding according to plan you tend to get extremely irritable and perhaps become difficult to live with.

Being emotionally inhibited you have no alternative at this time but to be a ‘watcher’ rather than a ‘doer’. At this time you feel as if you are being forced to compromise and stand back. But this is not the true you. Deep down there is that warm ‘open’ you which is awaiting the moment to burst forth - maybe like the chrysalis which will soon become the butterfly.

You are on tenterhooks and appear to be extremely nervous and upset. You are bored and you feel that life has far more to offer than this present day mundane existence. The way that you feel indicates that you have the need for a responsive and understanding relationship. You are prepared to follow up any opportunity which may present itself. However you are very choosy and you refuse to be swept off your feet unless integrity can proved to be 100% genuine. Therefore you are holding back, keeping your emotions in check because before you let down your guard you have to be sure. You are too trusting and you have no desire to be hurt again. You are responsive to conditions around you - but forever under control.

There is an inherent fear that you may be prevented from achieving the things you want. This activates your subconscious desire for peace of mind and mental security. It is increasingly obvious to you that the environment that you are in is not conducive to your well-being and so you are seeking fresh fields - somewhere free of conflict where you can RELAX and THINK.
