...

so it's been ages. and my  it goes like this always. namimihasa na ata ako, ah.

anyways, what pushed me to write to you today is simply because na nagbloghopping na naman ako. hehe.. nainspire ako saglit. i wish i was more deligent. i'll try. para naman mag-amoy tao ang blog nato...

two hours to go duty ko na. and if i don't get myself out of here, for sure i'll be fidgeting inside the jeepney saying things in mind like 'pwede paki bilisaaan manoong!' haha.. tapos kukulitin ako ng pagkakataon. tutubil si manong. hihinto syempre kami. aalburuto na naman ako! hayz.. buhay...

just so you know, i finally did it. i was the charge nurse last pm shift. and things has gone smooth. i just hope our duty for tonight would turn out the same as well. God bless us! c;

it's the start

Hindi ba tayo magbabago
Napagod na sa pakikibaka
Ba’t di kaya tayo magkasundo-sundo
Dumagak ang mga luha
Nilipas na ang panahon
Sugat na tila’y walang hapdi

Chorus:

Nasan ka man ngayon
Sana’y mabuti ka
Magkaibang mundo
Sana’y maisip mo
Ako…
Ako…

Tuloy ang awit sa ilalim ng tala
Unti-unting maaabot
Pagsapit ng dilim aking hiling
Kung di man masilayan
Tamis ng kahapon
Sumpa ko na aking itatanim

Repeat Chorus

Bridge:

Walang balakid
Walang makakapigil
Ang iyong pangalan
Sigaw ng damdamin
Hindi alam kung saan tutungo
Kung wala ka

P-noy's first SONA (state of the nation address) at 36 minutes? in comparison to the SONA's of the previous presidents, his was brief and understandable by many since he delivered it in a our language--Filipino. i couldn't care less about the content but critics say it was straightforward yet lacked the inspiration for the roughroad ahead. let us all just work and pray for a better philippines.

so timely, tomorrow's my first day of work with pay. finally! this could be a brand new start. so help me God. God bless us all, indeed!c;

super random

I know it's been a while since my last post. so i'm just gonna do flooding? naah. that's bad. here's a few random things i've been thinking lately or i recently came across upon with in the web. hehe..enjoy!;p

1. here's a jason magbanua work for you guyz. truly each piece is one of a kind and this one's just a part of my favorite list. it's actually quite different from his usual SDEs. you don't get to hear a full song here because it's DJ-ish. you know the thing they do --- scratching and repetition. LOVE. the must see actually is the "i do's" part. the mother of the bride gets to say the "i do" first even before her daughter does. WATCH NOW.

Charmaine and John: SDE (the hyper-pastor Remix) from Jason Magbanua on Vimeo.

2.

i was going around blogs months ago and landed on cycle chic which made me wanting of having my own bicycle. shame on me, i really can't make good turns with bicycles. i could only do straight driving. yeah, i know. i'm such a loser. ;c
anyhow, the one above is Velorbis Scrap Deluxe for Ladies and has landed a spot at Top 10 list of Gorgeous Bicycles for Stylish Ladies. follow this link to see the rest of the list. c;

3. last for this post is...

yes. it's a garden. when time comes our house is fixed, i want to do a major makeover of our little frontyard. it's all we've got. gardens add a little oomph in a house. and i want one for our lot. this one's a fast find. it's not actually what i wanted so i'm gonna go around some more for better pictures and ideas for our little garden some other time.

can i just add one more?
4. taddah!
isn't that bag adorable? can i have this please... c; i can't find a decent pic for this bag but it is still lovely even zoomed out. ha!

february, the new january

hiiyaah! oh it's been a while.. we're nearing february and i haven't posted something of worthy note at least to myself. haha.. and the same things have been bugging me since the last year (really feels weird to say the last two words because, hello, it's just like a month ago?haha) so i've finally decided to make an effort to publish my weeks-old post that i kept in my phone. perhaps, february is definitely my new january! So help me God!!!

BEEP

Have you ever in your life felt being stranded? It's when you feel like the world is turning and yet you're not moving forward. Like you're everyday living has become more or less a routine. It's the feeling that life gets you instead of you leading your life.

Lucky me in my 21st year alive, this time I have realized that I felt waking up, preaparing for work and then working was all that I was doing.Parang bummer na 'oo nga, I have work, so what?' 'Yong tipong pa-feel good lang (at least I have a work for now and after that what would become of me?gee..). If my mother had never been so persistent on asking me about my future plans, this 'pa-feel good' feeling wouldn't have dawned me. Basically, because I know for a fact that if I don't move a single muscle on this realization now, I wouldn't go places. No growth. No development. Stranded.

So for a start, since we just turned a calendar year,just to catch up, I'm setting up my own resolutions which hopefully I'd be able to pursue and yes I'm subjecting myself to a monitoring --- self-monitoring. Therefore, this has to be put into writing and perhaps I might ask some reliable persons, e.g. a family member or a close friend maybe to help me make these resolutions (yes, there's plenty of them!;p) into a success. To make these resolutions more feasible, it has to be clear, simple, direct, and positive.

Here it goes:

1. To sleep early; on bed by 11:00 PM, maximum allowance 12:00 MN.
2. Since I'm off to bed early, I should rise early too! Up by 5:00 AM, maximum allowance is til 5:30 AM.
3. No net surfing beyond 11:00 PM since this is one of the reasons why I stay up late at night.
4. To exercise for an hour daily! 30 minutes in the morning and the other half in the evening. (This has to be number 1 because I really want to lose weight. I want to be on the near normal of my BMI rather than verging on the largely normal scale.)
5. Accordingly, to have proper diet. Cut on carbs, fatty and junk foods.
6. To read the Bible daily and heartily (at least 2 minutes land daw sabi ni Father Leo will do.)
7. Hear mass weekly.
8. Pray frequently and do the rosary every week the least.
9. To read more books, three books at least in a month.
10. Take care of tootsie (to be introduced on my coming posts, hopefully) 24/7.

To be able to monitor thy resolutions, I have to do each of it for straight 21 days. According to a post from Mr. Jim Paredes' blog, in order for your resolution to be called a success, one has to complete the 21 days (no idea why 21, I think I have to reread that post.) straight. If you have lapses, you are to start from day 1 again until such time you reach your 21st. Whew!

SO HELP ME GOD!c;

details in the fabric

i fell in love right away with the melody and rhythm of this song. all the more when i've read the lyrics. lovely! encouraging...

plus, it's sang by two of my favorite artists! perfect! love it! much, much! yeah!!! c;

and in no connection to this, i found a reminder for me that hit home! Thanks fres. It's from no less than THE Mahatma Gandhi.

"Prayer is not asking. It is a longing of the soul. It is daily admission of one's weakness. It is better in prayer to have a heart without words than words without a heart."
